How we handle your information
This website collects one thing: the details you choose to send us in an enquiry. This page explains what happens to them.
Last updated 18 August 2026
This is a draft prepared for review. It describes how this website actually operates, but it is not legal advice and should be checked by the company's legal advisor before the site goes live.
01
Who we are
Vafi Atelier is the trading brand of Guiding Light Infra Projects Pvt Ltd, a company registered in Maharashtra, India. Our registered office address, CIN and GSTIN appear in the footer of every page of this site.
For any question about this policy, or about information you have sent us, contact us using the details on our contact page.
02
What we collect
We collect only what you enter into our enquiry form: your name, telephone number, email address, city, the type of project, its approximate area, an indication of budget, your intended timeline, and whatever you write in the message field.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, financial account details, identity document numbers, or any sensitive personal information. Nothing on this site requires you to create an account or set a password.
Our web host records standard technical information such as IP address and browser type in its server logs, as any web server does. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
03
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your enquiry for one purpose: to respond to it and to discuss the project you have described. We process it because you have asked us to get in touch, and because we have a legitimate interest in replying to a prospective client.
We do not use your details for marketing. There is no newsletter, and we will not add you to a mailing list.
04
Who sees it
An enquiry submitted through this site is delivered to our own email address and forwarded to our business WhatsApp number, so that whoever is available can respond quickly. Both are read only by people within our practice.
We use third-party providers to deliver that email and that message. They process the content of your enquiry solely in order to transmit it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own purposes.
WhatsApp is operated by Meta and email may be delivered through providers whose servers sit outside India. Sending us an enquiry therefore involves a transfer of that information outside India. If you would rather avoid that, telephone us instead — the number is on the contact page.
05
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as there is a live conversation, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Where an enquiry does not lead anywhere, we delete it once it is clearly no longer of use.
Where a project proceeds, correspondence is retained for as long as we are required to keep business records.
07
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us what information of yours we hold, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to erase it. You may also withdraw your consent to our holding it.
Write to us using the details on the contact page and we will respond. There is no charge for making a request.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you may raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India.
08
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to enquiry correspondence is limited to the people within our practice who need it.
No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please do not send us confidential documents through the enquiry form; we will arrange a suitable method if documents are needed.
09
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the date shown at the top of it.
